In SVP we believe in a culture of "everyone", therefore from Year 1 to Year 5 all children are involved in our weekly Council Crew meetings. These are led by our amazing Year 6 children and mean that we can ensure we hear the voices and opinions of all the children. This section of the website will provide information about the themes and topics addressed by our weekly Crew meetings.

This year Council Crew is running differently - instead of a mix of children from Crews 1-5 in each group - our Crew 6 leaders are responsible for another whole Crew and currently meetings are being held on Zoom. We hope to return to face to face crew meetings as soon as possible

Anti Bullying  - Council Crew 

For the last 3 weeks our Council Crew Agenda has been focused on Anti Bullying.

First we looked at Our School Behaviour Code and how we already work hard in SVP to ensure there is no bullying.

Then we all shared the work we had done in our Class Crews about anti bullying. 

Finally we devised Crew Pledges to show how we personally would support kindness and anti bullying in our school.

We pledge to go to the nearest and trusted adult - Chloe's Crew 

We pledge to support and to step in to help our friends  - Lily and Summer's Crew

We pledge to tell a teacher if someone's being bullied - Emelia's Crew

We pledge to be kind to everyone - Mason's Crew

We pledge not to cyber bully anyone online - Bobby's Crew
